Casablanca Layover Tour

Guests with a qualifying layover (10+ hours) on March 19th may have the opportunity to leave the airport for a guided tour of Casablanca.

Estimated cost: Approximately $150 per person, including admission to the Hassan II Mosque. Final pricing will depend on the number of participants, transportation requirements, and the final tour itinerary. Expressing interest does not commit you to booking; confirmed pricing will be provided before payment is requested.

What we need from you:

To arrange the appropriate transportation, we need to know how many people are interested and how much luggage will need to travel with the group.

Checked bags are typically transferred automatically when connecting flights are booked on a single ticket, but if you book the flight legs separately, you will have to collect your checked luggage in-between the flights.

Please answer based on the luggage you realistically expect to have with you during the tour, including any checked bags you may need to collect in Casablanca. Guests who have stayed overnight in Casablanca should include all luggage traveling with them. If you are unsure whether your checked bags will be transferred, select “I’m not sure” and we can help you determine that from your itinerary.

Luggage sizes: Most standard checked luggage is 24-28", but cannot exceed 62 linear inches (add together the length, width, and depth measurements of your empty suitcase). If it does, even if it's less than 28" tall, it could be considered oversized. Suitcases that are 30"+ are almost always considered oversized and will incur an additional charge at the airport, regardless of weight. Standard carry-on suitcases are 22" in the United States, and typically 19-21" elsewhere.

Ouarzazate

The flight from Casablanca is scheduled to arrive in Ouarzazate at 12:10 a.m. on March 20, several hours before the retreat begins. Guests taking this flight will need accommodation upon arrival so they can check in, rest, and freshen up before joining the retreat later that day.

We are exploring the option of reserving a local riad exclusively for our group. Space would be primarily based on double occupancy and is subject to sufficient interest and availability.
